globalincidentmap.com

I did not know that this website existed. The fact that it does is actually somewhat frightening. The Global Incident Map is a website mapping dangerous locations, all over the Earth.

As of right now, the closest incident to anywhere I'm going is Sri Lanka, nearby Chennai, India. I've mapped it all out below:

















Upon first read through, I thought a tiger escaped and killed three people. The second time I read it (and yes, everything I read is read twice - just like a carpenter measures twice and cuts once), I noticed that Tamil Tiger is a paramilitary group, and they killed three people.

Well, the long and the short of it is that I'll be sure to wave hello as we float by.
